Klerissa Church spent the first 15 years of her human resources career with General Mills Inc., supporting manufacturing facilities and commercial businesses in North and South America, Asia, Europe and Africa. Throughout this time, she partnered with multiple functions in the areas of business strategy, organizational development and talent management. After the birth of her daughter, Klerissa chose to shift gears, focusing on her family, volunteering, and individual career counseling. She was happy to help when asked by PFS to lead an organizational design project in the spring of 2019, and joined us as a strategic advisor a few months later.
When not learning about labor law in Ghana or Kenyan compensation practices, Klerissa enjoys reading, travel, stand up paddle boarding and spending time with her family and friends. She is on the executive committee of the MacPhail School of Music Board of Directors and volunteers regularly at her daughter’s elementary school.
Klerissa grew up in Michigan and received her Bachelor’s degrees and her Master’s degree from Michigan State University. She and her husband John have four children and two loyal rescue dogs. They live in Orono, Minnesota.
