Posho mills are small milling machines used to grind corn into flour in communities across East Africa. PFS is running a new food fortification program, in collaboration with Citi Foundation, which aims to enhance access to high quality, safe and nutritious food through small posho millers and contribute to healthier populations. Edwin Wanjiku is the program manager for this initiative.
Edwin has experience in food security, agri-tech projects and research. He studied food science and technology at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology in Kenya for both undergraduate and graduate studies. Outside of work, he enjoys jogging, watching football, and spending time with his family. Edwin is also passionate about animal welfare and supporting agribusiness growth in Africa.
