Gloria comes to Partners in Food Solutions with a passion for improving the livelihoods of smallholder farmers and enhancing their market opportunities. She spent five years working in international and community development, where she supported the implementation of various activities to support community development, cocoa farmer livelihoods, urban forestry, and biodiversification. “Over the years, I have realized that farmers often receive limited support, and their importance to the food value chain is overlooked. Increasing access to markets for smallholder farmers is one strategy that will look beyond commodity production and generate income for farmers, therefore enhancing their livelihoods,” said Gloria. “I joined the PFS family because I want to contribute to helping Africa achieve food and nutrition security and sustainable agriculture development.” Gloria earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Education in Winneba, Ghana, and a Masters of Philosophy in Natural Resources and Environmental Governance from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana.
